Answer

Makaylie has 1,000 tickets and she sold 549 tickets,

therefore the solution will be to know the number of tickets she still have is by subtracting the 549 tickets from the 1,000 tickets:

1,000 - 549 =

  1000

549

   451

She has left: 451 tickets.

How to multiply 4×362 using place value and expanded form?

How to multiply 4 by 362 using place value and expanded form.

The expanded form of 362 is: hundredth: 300 + tenth: 60+ ones: 2.

The expression is: 4 x (300 +60+ 2) that is we distribute 4 to the numbers inside that is:

( 4 x 300 ) + ( 4 x 60 ) + ( 4 x 2 )=

    1200     +    240      +      8      = 1448.
