A person has some currency notes of denominations rupees 500 , 100, 50. the ratio of the number of notes is 3:4:5. if the total money is 86000 then find the number of notes of each denomination.

This answer is fairly easy to solve. You have to apply the ratio method.
first you will sum up all the ratios to find the total number of shares which is 12.
then you will take the ratio and divide by the total share for example, 3/12=1/4
if division i not possible then just simply it
the last step is to multiply this simplified form with the total money too find out the number of that specific denomination. for example for 500 we have:
3/12=1/4
1/4*86000=21500
this means that there are 21500 notes of 500
