Jordie builds a model from 9:14 a.m. to 9:47 a.m. that means:
He started at 9 and 14 minutes and finished at 9 and 47 minutes.
The number of hours is the same: 9
so to solve that we need to : 9 and 47 minutes - 9 and 14 minutes = (9-9) and (47-14)
= 0 and 33 = 33 minutes.
It tooks Jordie 33 minutes to finish his model.
