Comparing and Ordering Integers

Answer

Order-3,5,16,and-10 from least to greatest:

-10, -3, 5, 16.

Then order the same numbers from closest to zero to the farthest from zero:

-10, -3, 0, 5, 16.

We get the same answer as in both exercise we need to compare the number to zero. For the (-) numbers far from zero is smaller and for (+) numbers far from zero is bigger.

Would this be true if the numbers were -3,5,-16 and-10:

from least to greatest: -16, -10, -3, 5.

Then order the same numbers from closest to zero to the farthest from zero: -16, -10, -3, 5.
